this was really hard for me to do. my brain doesn't work that way. i'm not and never have been good at working from my imagination. i always always ALWAYS work from a subject when drawing. for me to break that, to work outside of structure and reality... it felt like my brain was going to cave in on itself. it really made me appreciate abstract artists. albeit some abstract artists are just slingin' paint on canvas with no meaning or idea behind it... (jackson pollock is not a fucking artist. he's a schmuck.) anyways, for me to take something from reality and break it up into a series of abstractions... this was probably the hardest thing i've ever had to do. i hope you like it, though. because i do.
